OzPaddle - Sydney Harbour Group Fitness

Get on the water with the OzPaddle Experience for the ultimate group cross-training workout!

Sessions comprise a variety of land and water-based individual and team activities that ensure that you receive an all-over-body workout.

Our sessions are instructed by highly qualified staff and typically include a warmup routine, interval training, short runs and yoga-style stretching.

Beginners are welcome!

ABOUT THE SESSIONS

Our aim is to take you out of your comfort zone during training. Our Rose Bay and Sydney City locations run a number of sessions every week which focus on a range of techniques to ensure you improve your fitness levels in a fun and rewarding environment – Sydney Harbour!

Our sessions typically invoice paddling (of course), running, swimming and other activities appropriate to the location and season. Please refer to our fitness location pages for details of the session structures at each venue.

Health & Safety Information

We need to know about any health problems you may have to help ensure your safety at our sessions. If there is anything you are unsure about or if you wish to have a private conversation, please phone either our Rose Bay location (Tommy – 0416 239 543) or our Sydney City location (Sophie – 0430 950 333).

All levels of of fitness are welcome and we have appropriate safety systems and equipment in place to deal with any issues that may arise out on the water. We carry communication equipment in every session and have life-jackets, tow ropes and other equipment available to support our squads. Please note that as with any form of exercise, you undertake sessions at your own risk. Training out on the water may involve you getting wet. As an outdoor activity, conditions can change so you may have to deal with adverse weather conditions on occasion. We train as a group and we encourage all squad members to look out for each other during our sessions.

Sophie Morgan - Sydney Harbour Kayak Tour GuideSophie Morgan runs group fitness sessions from our Sydney City location.

Sophie holds the Flatwater Kayak Guide  and Instructor accreditation from Australian Canoeing and has many years of experience in kayak racing and fitness training around the Harbour.

She is passionate about paddling and loves showing guests the beauty of Sydney Harbour viewed from the water.
